The iREDheat NANO TECNIC line has been specially designed for installation in hospitals, health centers, waiting rooms and retirement homes, providing protection against viruses and bacteria.
This innovative technology makes it possible to stop the spread of COVID-19 thanks to a coating with nanosilver ions, applied to both the emitter and the rest of the metal structure of all panels in this series. Viruses are very susceptible to the oxidative effects of nanosilver, which damages them and prevents them from infecting host cells.
The most important route of infection with the coronavirus is aerosols, which spread very quickly, especially due to the operation of heating and ventilation systems. The best alternative to these is the installation of infrared radiant panels, which do not generate circulating air currents, but create air movement that directs materials denser than air itself, such as aerosols laden with COVID-19 particles, upwards. When turned on, the radiant panels generate a bell-shaped thermal footprint (see figure), keeping aerosols with coronaviruses inside and in the uppermost layers. This property effectively prevents the possibility of infection between people who share the same air for a long time.
Thanks to these properties, the iREDheat Nano panels offer active protection against COVID-19.
