About CAT5 Building Systems
Cat5 Building Systems is a proprietary construction solution consisting of Cat5 concrete blocks and CAT5 EPS insulation panel systems made of fiberglass and expanded polystyrene.
Our technology is a great alternative to traditional construction – it is cheaper, faster, allows you to build ecological, resilient, sustainable and extremely energy-saving buildings. In combination with our other products, it enables comprehensive construction of passive buildings.
Using the Cat5 building block system, you can design buildings up to 8 floors high with a basement, and thanks to the CAT5 EPS insulation panel system, up to 5 2 floors. The Cat5 EPS system can also be used independently of building blocks. It is ideal for insulating exterior walls, hinged wall systems in warehouses, building interior walls and covering floors. It can also be used to build light structures, e.g. summer houses, shelters and portable warehouses.
Our EPS system is very durable (up to several dozen years with proper maintenance), resistant to most weather conditions (withstands even -55 degrees Celsius), fireproof, hypoallergenic, easy to transport, quick to assemble and does not require the work of qualified construction workers (as much as 80% of the construction can be built with workers with basic training in about half the time of a traditional system). It is also an ecological solution and its elements can be used many times. The use of our system allows you to save up to 60% of the costs of heating and cooling the building.
The system was developed in the USA and first used in Orlando, Florida, after the Katrina hurricane in 2005. This made it possible to reduce the negative effects of these natural disaster: quick and cheap repair of damage to buildings and ensuring the safety and shelter of residents.
